The summer workshops are intended for people aged 18 and over who have some knowledge of circus arts or related disciplines such as dance, gymnastics, trampoline, diving…
These individuals wish to develop skills in basic circus techniques (acrobatics, handstand, flexibility and physical preparation) and seek to deepen their knowledge of circus disciplines.
In this workshop, the individual will choose a main circus discipline for which he/she will have hours allocated to develop skills related to that specific technique as well as the construction of routines.
Included in this workshop:
- Main discipline
- Acrobatics
- Balance on hands
- Trampoline
- Physical preparation (ex: flexibility, bodybuilding, Pilates, yoga, etc.)
- Varied complementary workshops (e.g. dance, theatrical performance, mime, flying trapeze, etc.)

Schedule
Monday to Friday
Classes can be held between 8am and 6pm
Duration
2 weeks
Approximately 25 hours per week*
*Two public holidays fall within the first two courses, so the rest of the days of these two weeks will be slightly longer in order to respect the 25-hour course per week.

You can only choose 1 main discipline per workshop.

* Disciplines in duo are offered only to those who register with their partner.

FEES
$1 200 CAD + taxes per workshop (2 weeks)
$100 discount when you register for two consecutive workshops (4 weeks)
$200 discount when you register for three consecutive workshops (6 weeks)

Registrations cancelled before the respective registration deadlines for each course will be eligible for a full refund. For cancellations after these deadlines, please see our refund policy below.

REFUND POLICY FOR OUR SUPERIOR STUDIES' SUMMER WORKSHOPS
Cancelation by École de cirque de Québec
If one of the workshop is canceled by ÉCQ, the registered participant will receive a full refund of his registration fees.
Cancelation by the participant – before the deadline
Any participant who cancels his registration to a workshop before the respective deadline of the workshop in question will be eligible to receive a full refund of his registration fees.
Cancelation by the participant – after the deadline
Any participant who cancels their registration for the course after the registration deadlines but before the start of the course will be eligible to receive a refund. However, an administrative fee of 20% will be deducted from the invoice.
Cancellation by the participant – after the start of the course
No refunds will be made, except in exceptional cases. Any cancellation request made after the beginning of the course will be subject to an evaluation.
