Sports and leisure animator – Let’s Go to the Circus! workshops

No prior circus experience is required, and paid training will be provided.

Whether you’re pursuing a career in the circus arts or seeking a path in creative recreational hobbies, our school offers a unique environment where you can thrive in your next professional adventure.

As an instructor, your role is to lead circus arts workshops, engage with participants and supervise groups. You’ll ensure a fun, safe and enriching experience for all students.

  • Teach circus arts to participants.
  • Supervise and manage introductory circus arts groups and regular groups.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of participants at all times.
  • Maintain equipment and report any damage or loss.
  • Follow all rules, procedures and policies of the ÉCQ.
  • Take part in training activities to maintain skills and knowledge.

Additional duties as needed to support the position.

  • Ability and experience in leading group workshops
  • Good knowledge of the artistic or circus environment

We’re also looking for candidates with strong:

  • Teaching skills: effectively pass on knowledge to students.
  • Communication: adapt communication methods to suit different age groups.
  • Teamwork: collaborate with various staff members across the ÉCQ’s activities.
