The École de cirque de Québec is currently seeking instructors in aerial disciplines, tightwire and flexibility for its post-secondary Higher Education programs (DEC-DEE and High School Circus Studies) beginning in fall 2025. Experience in other circus disciplines is also welcome.

The École de cirque de Québec is currently seeking instructors in aerial disciplines, tightwire and flexibility for its post-secondary Higher Education programs (DEC-DEE and Secondary Circus Studies) beginning in fall 2025. Experience in other circus disciplines is also welcome.

Teaching may involve small group classes or individual instruction, depending on the context of the professional training programs.

  • Plan courses according to objectives
  • Support students throughout their training process
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and encourage their autonomy and development
  • Collaborate with other members of the Higher Education team to ensure that program activities run smoothly
  • In-depth knowledge of techniques and exercises leading to a professional level of mastery in specific disciplines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Minimum of one year of teaching experience
  • Proficiency in spoken and written French (English is an asset.)
  • NCCP certification, AEC or formal circus teaching credentials are considered assets

  • Number of hours based on the disciplines taught and the Higher Education program’s needs
  • Hourly rate: $33.50

  • Free parking
  • Vacation accrual at 4% of salary
